I am a self-taught and self-representing artist and for the last two years I have focused on creating interesting texture and layering techniques while still producing more conventional art works.
Using mixed media techniques I like to use a lot of different materials, these include Glue, Acrylics, Wall Filler, Spray Paint, Crayons, Pastels, Foil, Metal, Clay, Synthetic Cobwebs, Plexiglas and other new materials as they become available.
There is no particular philosophy to my work but what drives me to make paintings is the need to express my thoughts through the seemingly endless possibilities of colour. Painting fulfills my creative energies and my mind is always buzzing with ideas for future works, many more than I could ever produce.
Just like music you can’t always explain how or why a piece excites or moves you, so please enjoy my galleries and I hope that you find something that inspires or excites you.
